A skilled clinician’s ability to listen closely and respond with thoughtful words can positively impact patient care. Dr. Dauwalder will discuss effective communications techniques to employ with patients and families. He will offer examples of words that heal and comfort and don’t cause additional distress. CME and CEU credits will be offered.
