Mary Dyer, RN, BSN
Mary Dyer enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a nurse. She found her niche is caring for patients and their families who were nearing end-of-life. She brings 48 years experience, mostly in the areas of oncology, geriatrics and hospice. She worked at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center’s Robert & Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Center until she retired in 2010.
Mary will share her reflections and insight to help you understand end-of-life issues and decision-making. Mary will focus on maintaining quality of life as you age and circumstances change, tempering expectations of yourself, your loved ones and your physicians, making informed decisions, and communicating choices to loved ones. Mary will empower you to face the future with confidence and peace of mind.
